Lindell has said he has spent millions of dollars developing Frank. Frank has no social networking features and primarily offers embedded video streams, including Absolute Interference, a two-hour video promoting conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election. Frank launched on the domain on April 19, 2021, experiencing many technical issues which Lindell ascribed to a "massive attack". Originally called "Vocl," a dispute from a company that owned a web site called "Vocal" led Lindell to rename his site "Frank". He described the site as a cross between YouTube and Twitter, that would be different from Gab and Parler. In March 2021, Lindell detailed plans for an alt-tech social media platform that he had been developing for several months. Lindell operates two web sites under the "Frank" brand: Frank, focused on video streaming, and FrankSocial, a social network. Lindell has suggested that this is a result of his claims relating to the 2020 United States presidential election results, although outlets like Kohl's and Bed Bath & Beyond have stated this is due to market research and low customer demand. In 2021, some major retailers stopped carrying My Pillow products. In 2020, Lindell named his son Darren as the company's chief operating officer, citing his own possible future political ambitions. In a statement, Lindell said, "Naturally, I am terribly disappointed by the BBB's decision."

He attended the University of Minnesota after high school, but dropped out a few months into his studies. Lindell's gambling addiction began to emerge in his teenage years. There can never be a good time to part ways with a club legend such as Frank, but after lengthy deliberation and consideration it was decided a change is needed now to give the Club time to improve performances and results this season. However, recent results and performances have not met the Club’s expectations, leaving the Club mid-table without any clear path to sustained improvement. We are grateful to Frank for what he has achieved in his time as Head Coach of the Club. This has been a very difficult decision, and not one that the owner and the Board have taken lightly.
